This is the story of Alex and Kendall. They took Chicago and made it their own. We had the honor of joining them for a few hours as they showed us their favorite places in the city before the wedding.
We started in Millenium Park by Cloud Gate, otherwise known as ‘The Bean’, before making our way to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in the late afternoon. As the sun set over Lake Michigan, we wandered over to a little hole in the wall restaurant known as the Billy Goat Tavern and had some of the best burgers you’ve never tried. From there, we walked the streets of downtown Chicago, finding hidden spots here and there for Alex and Kendall to hold and cherish each other. We ended the evening hours later at Ghirardelli by the Chicago River.
This is why I call our engagement sessions photojourneys. They take place at your pace, and they take me to your spaces–showing whatever you want to share, wherever you want to share it.
