What are your rates?

Wedding coverage begins at $2,000 and photojourneys (engagements, family, and portrait sessions) are $500.

How do we reserve our date with you?

To reserve your date, we’ll sign a contract including a 50% deposit. The balance is due any time between the contract signing and your wedding day. The entire amount is refundable if neither I nor my second are available for the wedding. Don’t worry about that part. I’ve never missed a wedding.

When will our pictures be available?

Your pictures will be available digitally on the one month celebration of your wedding.

How many pictures will we receive?

You can expect to receive at least 200 pictures with a short (up to 5 hours) wedding and 500 pictures with a full (unlimited coverage) wedding.

Do you speak languages besides English?

Yes! I can support weddings in English, Spanish, French, or German.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. My passport is current and I love to use it. Domestically, I’m available to shoot in all 50 states. Here’s a wedding from Michigan.

If the location is more than 3 hours from Rockford or Chicago, I do charge an additional fee to cover travel expenses.

Why wedding photography?

I like being a part of one of the best days of most people’s lives.

It doesn’t matter whether that puts me among 1000 guests in a packed reception hall or in an intimate elopement with just the couple. I love it all.

I shot my first wedding more than 15 years ago and every part of the process still makes me want to get up and go to work each morning.

I took a break after my wife (an amazing photographer in her own right) and I had children but couldn’t stay away.

Simply put, I think weddings are wonderful, messy, brilliant things.
