Rehearsal Dinner Photographer

As a wedding photographer, I’m here to tell your story. It might start with an engagement session or it might start with the wedding itself. Sometimes it begins with the rehearsal dinner. And for that you’ll want a rehearsal dinner photographer.

Why have one at all?

It’s a chance for you to document your loved ones in a relaxed, candid way before the big day. It also gives your guests a chance to meet and spend time around your photographer before the wedding day.

Some couples use it as a time for speeches–personal stories, tear-jerkers, humorous toasts–in order to leave room for more pressing matters during the reception.

Other couples take advantage of the rehearsal dinner as a way to capture candid, true to life moments. It’s a more mellow time than the big day. For some it’s a way to take portraits or group shots in more casual outfits that you wouldn’t wear on the wedding day.

And as noted above, there’s perhaps no better way to get your guests used to being photographed than to give them good company and good food to eat without the pressure of the wedding day all around them.

There are all kinds of reasons.

Perhaps my favorite is that it’s a chance to complete your story. Particularly for couples who choose unlimited coverage, a rehearsal dinner allows you to tie the threads between your traveling guests, your ceremony, and your reception in an organic way.
